Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Solar Site Engineer – Electrical (EEE) to manage on-site solar PV system installations, commissioning, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will ensure solar projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. This role involves close coordination with project managers, clients, contractors, and field technicians.

Key ResponsibilitiesSolar Installation & Site Execution

• Supervise and execute on-grid and off-grid solar PV installations including panels, inverters, DC/AC wiring, combiner boxes, and monitoring systems.
• Ensure proper mounting structure installation and panel alignment for optimal energy generation.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with project schedules and milestones.

Commissioning & Testing

• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and validation of solar PV systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, inverter issues, and DC/AC connectivity problems.
• Perform quality checks on cables, panels, inverters, and other electrical components.

Project Coordination & Reporting

• Review electrical layouts, schematics, and solar system designs before execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams for smooth workflow.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, track material usage, and report any deviations or issues.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all site work adheres to electrical safety standards, local codes, and HSE protocols.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to safeguard personnel and equipment.
• Train and guide junior technicians in safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in solar PV installation, commissioning, or electrical site work.
• Knowledge of on-grid/off-grid solar systems, inverters, DC/AC wiring, and solar plant components.
• Proficient in reading electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and solar layouts.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and HSE practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with solar monitoring systems and SCADA integration.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, or similar design tools.
• Ability to manage a team of technicians and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to multiple project sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
