Role Overview:
In this role at ABB Global Industries and Services Private Limited (GISPL), you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB's success by developing technology, software, products, and systems. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing innovative solutions to relevant problems, showcasing your expertise, and working independently as well as part of a Research & Development (R&D) team. This position is in the Motion High Power (MOHP) Division, a global technology leader in variable frequency drives, based in Bangalore, India.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in refinement meetings to understand VFD Functions and System Testing requirements
- Perform customer-focused Test Automation development activities on drive functions
- Conduct Test Requirement Analysis, Manual Testing, and Test Automation code development activities in C#/Python
- Maintain test defect logs captured during testing and testing automation development
- Support the Product owner in coordinating technical inputs for the project and resolving technical issues with global architecture and development teams
- Drive Power Component Model Development and Hardware in loop requirements, develop Matlab/Typhoon model, and integrate with Simulator for testing and Test Automation

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's / master's degree in power electronics, electronics, electrical engineering, or related field with 2 to 4 years of experience in Simulations, Modeling, and Test Automation of Embedded Systems
- Positive understanding of different Hardware in Loop simulation platforms like Typhoon, OPAL-RT etc. with at least 2 years of experience
- Good proficiency in Matlab / Simulink programming of power electronics components with a minimum of 2 years of working experience
- Proficiency in Test Automation using C# / Python / Robo Framework
- Understanding of Configuration management, Code Repository, Requirements management, Code Management, CI/CD, and different testing phases including Release testing
- Knowledge of Test Automation Strategy and Process (Any Testing certification will be an advantage)
- Experience in working with Industrial Drives / VFDs, Drives testing, knowledge on Drives Applications, Drive control loops, Drives Configurations, and Drives System Topologies will be an added advantage. Role Overview:
