Role Overview:
As a Release Analyst for SFCC, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the end-to-end integrity of the SFCC release lifecycle. You will serve as the main gatekeeper for the production environments, and your role will involve architecting and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate cartridge deployments. Additionally, you will orchestrate complex Metadata and Data Replications across the Primary Instance Group (PIG). Your efforts will focus on aligning client objectives with platform capabilities to enhance user adoption and deliver significant business value.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot .gitlab-ci.yml pipelines for automated cartridge deployments.
- Enforce and manage a structured Branching Strategy to coordinate parallel development among multiple feature teams.
- Manage system/custom object schemas and site preferences, resolving conflicts arising from team-specific configurations.
- Handle manual and automated imports of Catalogs, Pricebooks, and Content via Business Manager or WebDAV.
- Execute code and data replications across the Primary Instance Group (Staging -> Production).
- Ensure consistency between Sandbox (SIG) and PIG environments through regular configuration syncs.
- Coordinate code freezes, manage merge requests, and serve as the final gatekeeper for production releases.
- Implement Rollback Procedures & Job Schedule Management.
- Facilitate go-live planning and support.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance and streamline business processes using Salesforce capabilities.
- Maintain transparent communication with internal and client teams regarding project progress, risks, and outcomes.

Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of experience in the role of a Release Analyst.
- Previous experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud implementation projects is essential.
- Profound understanding of Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud features.
- Deep mastery of SFCC B2C Architecture (PIG/SIG), Business Manager, and Data/Code Replication logic.
- Proven expertise in building and troubleshooting .gitlab-ci.yml pipelines and managing GitLab Runners.
- Expert knowledge of Branching Strategies (GitFlow, Trunk-based) and complex merge conflict resolution.
- Strong familiarity with XML (for Metadata), Node.js/NPM (for build processes), and JSON (for OCAPI/SCAPI).
- Experience in configuring OCAPI/SCAPI settings and deploying to Managed Runtime (MRT) for PWA Kit.
- Proficiency with Agile processes and principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with outstanding organizational and time management capabilities.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively remotely and asynchronously with team members across different locations and time zones.
