About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO & Google My Business Growth Specialist who can organically scale brands across Google Search and Google Maps. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in technical SEO, keyword strategy, and Google Business Profile (GMB) optimization, with the ability to resolve complex GMB issues and drive significant organic traffic.

This role requires someone who understands how to rank businesses on both Google Search and Google Maps, and can implement strategies that consistently generate high-intent leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Organic Growth & SEO Strategy
• Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and search visibility
• Perform in-depth keyword research and identify opportunities to capture high-intent search traffic
• Optimize websites for on-page SEO, technical SEO, and content SEO
• Monitor and improve website rankings, impressions, CTR, and conversions
• Conduct SEO audits and implement improvements

Google Business Profile (GMB) Optimization

• Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GMB)
• Improve Google Maps rankings for targeted keywords
• Handle GMB suspensions, reinstatement requests, and verification issues
• Optimize business listings including categories, services, posts, photos, and reviews
• Implement local SEO strategies including citations and NAP consistency

Local SEO & Maps Ranking

• Improve local search visibility for location-based keywords
• Build and manage citations and local listings
• Develop strategies to rank businesses in the Google Local Pack and Maps results
• Implement review generation and reputation management strategies

Analytics & Performance Tracking

• Track performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush
• Monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic growth
• Identify new opportunities for organic expansion
• Generate actionable insights and growth reports

Required Skills & Experience

• SEO Expertise
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and off-page SEO
• Proven experience in ranking websites for competitive keywords
• Expertise in keyword research and search intent analysis

Google Maps / GMB Expertise

• Deep experience with Google Business Profile optimization
• Proven ability to rank businesses in Google Maps
• Experience resolving GMB suspensions, verification, and listing issues

Tools & Platforms

• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• Ahrefs / SEMrush / Similar tools
• Screaming Frog or similar SEO audit tools

Preferred Experience

• Experience scaling local businesses or multi-location brands
• Understanding of schema markup and structured data
• Experience working with WordPress or custom websites
• Knowledge of local SEO citation building strategies
