We are seeking an experienced SEO & AEO Optimisation Specialist with at least 4 years of proven

hands-on experience to drive organic search growth across multiple company websites. This role focuses on

developing and executing strategies that dominate both traditional search engines and AI-powered answer

engines.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in modern SEO with specialized knowledge of Answer Engine

Optimization (AEO) — optimizing content to be cited, summarized, and extracted as direct answers in

AI-generated responses. You will lead scalable content strategies, oversee technical optimizations, build

authority, and ensure long-term visibility in an AI-first search landscape.

The primary goal is to boost organic visibility, secure citations in AI answers, dominate search results

(traditional and generative), and generate a consistent pipeline of qualified inbound leads.

Minimum Experience Requirement: No less than 4 years of professional experience in SEO, AEO, GEO, or

equivalent digital search optimization roles, with demonstrable results in traffic growth, rankings, or AI citations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organic Search & AEO Strategy
  • Develop and lead SEO & AEO strategies across multiple websites.
  • Build a 12-24 month organic growth roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Identify high-value keyword opportunities, competitive gaps, and AEO citation potential.
  • Establish topical and entity-based authority in target industries to improve AI answer inclusion.
  • Content Strategy
  • Conduct advanced keyword, topical, semantic, and entity research.
  • Develop content clusters, pillar pages, and structured formats optimized for both SEO and AEO.
  • Oversee creation and optimization of blog, resource, and service pages.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper.ai) to scale content production while upholding strong E-E-A-Tstandards (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).
  • Structure content for AI citation, answer extraction, conversational queries, and zero-click results.
  • Technical SEO & Machine Readability
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize:
  • Website architecture, internal linking, and service page structure.
  • Schema markup and structured data for enhanced AI understanding.
  • Crawlability, indexing, page speed, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Entity-based optimizations and semantic signals for LLMs and answer engines.
  • Websites are primarily built on WordPress and Elementor.
  • Authority Building & Off-Page SEO
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen domain authority and AI trust signals:
  • Backlink acquisition campaigns with focus on high-authority, relevant sources.
  • Digital PR, guest posting, and outreach for brand mentions and citations.
  • Build citations, brand mentions, and entity relationships to improve AEO performance.
  • AI-Powered & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize visibility in AI answer engines, including:
  • Google AI Overviews
  • ChatGPT Search
  • Perplexity AI
  • Bing Copilot
  • Google Gemini
  • Voice search platforms

  • Key focus areas:
  • AEO / GEO principles (optimizing for generative/answer engines).
  • Structuring content for direct AI citation and answer generation.
  • Conversational query optimization and intent mapping.
  • Entity-based SEO and LLM-friendly content architecture.
  • Analytics, Tracking & Reporting
  • Monitor and report on performance across SEO and AEO:
  • Keyword rankings and AI citation/share-of-voice.
  • Organic traffic growth and zero-click impact.
  • Backlink profile quality and authority signals.
  • Conversion rates from organic and AI-referred traffic.

  • Core tools:

  • Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 4 years (no less than 4 years) of professional experience in SEO, AEO (Answer Engine
  • Optimization), GEO, or closely related search optimization roles, with a proven track record of driving
  • measurable organic growth, rankings, or AI visibility.
  • Advanced keyword research, search intent mapping, and semantic/entity SEO.
  • Technical SEO (architecture, schema, crawlability, speed).
  • Content clustering, pillar strategy, and AEO-optimized structuring.
  • Backlink strategy, digital PR, and authority building.
  • Data analysis, SEO/AEO reporting, and performance dashboards.
  • Proven knowledge of AEO concepts (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO, AIO, AEO for featured snippets/voice, and LLM optimization.
  • Experience optimizing for AI platforms (ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, etc.).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional efforts (developers, content teams) and guide junior contributors.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated success driving organic traffic, AI citations, and qualified leads in competitive industries.

Understanding of how LLMs source, evaluate, and cite content.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, or AEO/GEO-focused training).
