About The Role

We are looking for an experienced YouTube Script Writer (Healthcare) who can consistently deliver high-quality, medically accurate, and engaging video scripts for our healthcare-focused YouTube channels.

This role is ideal for someone who understands medical storytelling, patient education, audience retention, and ethical healthcare communication. You will work closely with doctors, content strategists, and video editors to create scripts that educate, engage, and build long-term trust, without misleading claims or exaggeration.

This is a structured, output-driven role that requires strong writing discipline and the ability to maintain quality at scale.

Key Responsibilities Healthcare YouTube Script Writing

Write YouTube scripts covering:
Medical conditions, symptoms, and causes
Treatments, procedures, and recovery timelines
Medicines (usage, safety, side effects, FAQs)
Patient education, awareness, and myth-busting topics
Translate complex medical information into clear, conversational, patient-friendly language
Adapt writing style for:
Short-form educational videos
Long-form in-depth explainers
Doctor-led and voiceover-based formats
Video-First Storytelling & Retention

Write scripts designed for strong audience retention, including:
Compelling hooks
Clear narrative flow
Logical progression and summaries
Structure scripts to support:
Viewer understanding
Watch-time optimisation
Clear and ethical CTAs
Maintain a balance between education, engagement, and trust
Medical Accuracy & Compliance

Ensure all scripts are:
Factually accurate
Medically responsible
Ethically written (no fear-mongering, false promises, or exaggerated claims)
Coordinate with doctors or medical reviewers for approvals where required
Align content with Google E-E-A-T and YMYL standards
Content Quality & Consistency

Maintain consistency in:
Brand tone
Medical credibility
Language clarity
Edit and proofread scripts for:
Flow and readability
Grammar and structure
Medical correctness
Deliver content consistently in a quick-paced, deadline-driven environment
Collaboration & Workflow

Work closely with:
Doctors & medical reviewers

Incorporate feedback quickly and improve scripts iteratively
Support content series, campaigns, and long-term channel growth
Required Skills & Experience Must-Have

Proven experience in healthcare / medical content writing
Prior experience writing YouTube or video scripts
Strong understanding of:

Excellent English writing skills (clear, conversational, authoritative)
Ability to manage consistent daily writing output without compromising quality
