As a Senior Web Engineer at Charles River Development, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining Charles River Investment Management Solution ("IMS") modules or components. Your primary focus will be on developing components and frameworks for the next-generation version of IMS using React. You will also provide engineering support to customer support teams and other development teams within Charles River Development.
  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • - Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug large and complex software enhancements within Charles River's business and technical domains.
    - Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create sustainable software solutions of high complexity.
    - Direct problem-solving efforts for projects to resolve advanced software technical issues.
    - Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs and projects using React, JavaScript, or other related software engineering languages.
    - Write unit and automation tests to ensure a high-quality product.
    - Identify and implement improvements in test methodologies and frameworks.
    - Conduct manual tests to maintain product quality.
    - Assist team leaders in the agile software development process by following the CRD scrum methodology.
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
    - 5-10 years of software engineering experience.
    - 3 years of experience in the financial services domain, including exposure to OMS and EMS systems.
    - Working knowledge of Desktop applications built in .Net, WinForms, and WPF.
