Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Telecom Engineer with over 10 years of experience to support detailed engineering, procurement, and execution of telecommunication and ELV systems for onshore and offshore oil & gas EPC projects. The role includes the design, integration, and implementation of communication systems such as CCTV, PAGA, access control, LAN/WAN, radio, and structured cabling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and specification of telecom and ELV systems (CCTV, PAGA, access control, fiber optics, SCS, radio, etc.).
• Prepare engineering deliverables such as specifications, datasheets, drawings, and cable schedules.
• Perform technical evaluations, vendor document reviews, and system integration checks.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client standards, and international codes (IEC, ITU, NFPA, etc.).
• Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, instrumentation, process, HSE) to ensure seamless system integration.
• Provide support during FAT, SAT, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and HAZOPs when required.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in telecom engineering for EPC oil & gas projects (onshore and offshore).
• Strong knowledge of telecom systems design, engineering standards, and integration practices.
• Experience with major oil & gas clients and familiarity with their specifications.
• Proficient in engineering tools and telecom design software.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
