Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SEO Content Editor (Editor + Writer) who will primarily focus on editing, refining, and optimizing SEO-driven content across multiple industries and global markets.

This role is editor-first, with writing responsibilities where needed.

You will work closely with writers and SEO strategists to improve content quality, structure, and search performance, ensuring every piece of content is clear, authoritative, and optimized for modern search.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Content Editing & Quality Control: Edit, proofread, and approve content to ensure clarity, accuracy, brand alignment, and SEO compliance.
• Improve SEO Performance of Content: Optimize content structure, headings, internal links, and search intent alignment.
• Refine AI-Generated Content: Review and improve AI-assisted drafts by restructuring content, removing fluff, and strengthening clarity and expertise.
• Optimize Content for Modern Search: Structure content for AI Overviews, featured snippets, and semantic SEO.
• Write When Needed: Write and expand long-form content such as blogs, guides, and resource pages when required.
• Maintain Editorial Standards: Develop and maintain content guidelines, editorial frameworks, and style manuals.
• Improve Existing Content: Conduct content audits and update articles to improve rankings, traffic, and engagement.

What We’re Looking For

• 4-7 years of experience in SEO content editing/writing.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (keywords, search intent, internal linking, topical authority).
• Experience optimizing content for Google AI Overviews, featured snippets, and SERP features.
• Excellent editing, proofreading, and content structuring skills.
• Ability to manage multiple content pieces and maintain editorial consistency.
• AI & Automation Mindset: Interest or experience in AI-driven SEO, automation, or scalable growth systems.
• Strong editorial judgment, i.e., the ability to significantly improve draft content through editing, restructuring, and clarity improvements.
