Security Master / Reference Data Analyst – Private Credit (Markit EDM)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Security Master / Reference Data Analyst to support private credit / private debt instruments using Markit EDM. The role will focus on data quality remediation, security onboarding, and stabilization of Security Master data to reduce downstream inconsistencies across accounting, risk, and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Security Master data for private credit / loan instruments
• Perform hands-on activities in Markit EDM (onboarding, updates, remediation)
• Identify and resolve data quality issues (missing / incorrect attributes)
• Provide immediate data fixes to support business and downstream systems
• Coordinate with onshore stakeholders, operations, and technology teams
• Support documentation, controls, and data governance activities

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in Security Master / Reference Data
• Hands-on Markit EDM experience (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of private credit / loans / private debt securities
• Experience resolving data quality and reconciliation issues

Nice to Have

• Exposure to IBOR, fund accounting, or risk platforms
• Experience with other reference data tools (GoldenSource, Aladdin, etc.)
• Understanding of data controls and governance

Location

India – Offshore delivery (Bengaluru / Pune / Mumbai / Chennai / Hyderabad)
