Job DescriptionDataWorks is seeking a detail-oriented Senior QC Executive to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all publishing deliverables. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of publishing workflows and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end quality checks on typeset pages, manuscripts, eBooks, indexes, and page elements (images/artworks), ensuring accuracy in layout, styling, formatting, consistency, and grammar.
• Verify compliance with client guidelines, publishing standards, and internal workflows across all deliverables.
• Identify issues, provide clear feedback, and collaborate with editors, paginators, indexers, and project managers to resolve them and close QC loops.
• Track recurring errors, maintain QC consistency, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Support and guide junior QC team members when required while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree (English/Arts preferred) with 4+ years of experience in publishing or pre-media, and strong knowledge of workflows (typesetting, editing, indexing, PDF & ePub QC).
• Excellent attention to detail with strong grammar and formatting skills, along with proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and proofreading tools.
• Strong communicator who can work independently, collaborate across teams, handle feedback positively, and meet deadlines consistently.
