Your day at NTT DATA
As a Principal Security Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you will be the go-to expert in designing complex and robust security architectures for our systems, applications, and infrastructure. Your day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our technology solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices. You will be pivotal in protecting sensitive DATA, mitigating risks, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems.

You will start your day by designing and developing comprehensive security architectures, considering both our current needs and future goals. You will work closely with developers, engineers, and project managers to integrate security requirements into the system design and development lifecycle. Your expertise will be crucial in providing pre-sales technical support and deep insights into analyzing client requirements.

Throughout the day, you will evaluate and select security technologies, tools, and frameworks to support our security architectures. You will also define and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. When incidents occur, you will lead response activities, ensuring swift identification, containment, eradication, and recovery.

As the trusted technical advisor to clients, you will be responsible for guiding and influencing the Sales team. You will ensure proposed solutions align with client objectives and organizational capabilities. Managing proof-of-concept initiatives and overseeing the transition from solution design to implementation will be key parts of your role.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:

• must have 10+years of presales experience
• Deep knowledge of AI, security domains, including network security, application security, cloud security, DATA protection, and secure coding practices.
• Broad understanding of security regulations and standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI dSS.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture principles, frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), and design patterns for secure systems.
• Extensive experience as a Security Technical Architect in a large-scale, multinational environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of assessing risks and finding effective solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, contributing to team success.
• Extensive client engagement skills coupled with strong technical consulting aptitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
