Role Description

This full-time hybrid role for a Senior Network Security/Firewall Engineer is based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and managing firewalls, troubleshooting network and security issues, ensuring cybersecurity standards, conducting system monitoring, and providing advanced technical support. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance information security and network performance will be a key part of this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5yrs of experience
• Expertise in Network Engineering and Troubleshooting, including configuring and maintaining network devices.
• Strong knowledge of Network Security, including firewall management and data protection protocols.
• Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Information Security practices to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues efficiently.
• In-depth understanding of enterprise-level network architectures and security protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE, or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Experience with security compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, or NIST).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
