Waivers review (mostly a pre-close activity)

Deferred Revenue (done later in the Close)

CCS Deferrals (the bulk is done during the Close)

COB review oversight/ JE‘s (mostly preclose)

Shipment cut off (last 6 BDs, Walk the Dock, Ocean shipments)- done earlier in the close, but not a heavy task Future performance obligations (annual FS disclosure)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with CA or CMA

Additional information

The resource should have

- Exec presence, ability to put a slide deck for exec review

- system expert and hence need to be systems savvy (Oracle and Alteryx)….Quick fix if something is not working in Oracle or Alteryx from analytics and reporting standpoint

- Not just analytical skills but ability to review Waivers, talk to product mgr and understand the specifics. Decision making with the product mgr on deciding if a waiver is comprehensive.

- Oversight on JEs (mostly preclose)

- Audit board - Check twice a year if certification/review of controls are done.
