Overview

This position is responsible to lead production team of the concentrate manufacturing to produce safe & defect free concentrates.

Position is responsible to ensure uninterrupted supply of Concentrates & to ensure all KPI’s are established, met & improved continuously.

This position is responsible to implement an improvement based culture on the line.

Position is also responsible for ensuring both the resources i.e. People & Equipment are utilized to the best of their capacities & capability building of new resources are in place whenever the need arises.

Responsibilities

Manufacturing
  • Driving safety mindset to deliver Safe operations
  • Driving a culture of Zero safety incident mindset. Utilizing tools like Risk assessment for various operations activities to proactively address any impeding human / environmental risk
  • Driving operations in strict adherence to Manufacturing Instruction issued by R&D
  • Driving a Zero Quality Defect Mindset to deliver.
  • Adherence to Minimum Mandates and maintaining AIB readiness on regular basis by imbibing GMP as core operational value.
  • Creating & implementing action plans on Customer Complaints received from Various Bottlers to ensure Zero Repeat.
  • Driving Flexibility for manufacturing operations to meet high surging volumes in South East Asia market.
  • Help ramp up of new assets to deliver capex commitment
  • Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
  • Timely review the installed capacities & draft the Infrastructural additions or modifications thus improving process efficiencies & Capacity additions in time.
  • Driving loss reduction initiatives through structured Yield Improvement processes and Productivity improvement initiatives
  • Co-ordinate with supply chain innovation team for the launch and manufacturing of new products as per timelines.
  • Raising Infrastructure requirements on 3 year rolling strat plan & execution of same to improve the productivities, efficiencies & meeting supply chain demands with surging volumes.
  • Coordinate maintenance including Predictive & break down to ensure smooth operations of manufacturing & no loss of time.
  • Coordinate & implement plant resource optimization activities ensuring lower usage of water, fuel & electricity hence serving the generations ahead.

  • Raw Material Stores
  • Managing the Raw Material stores, external raw material warehouse and Engineering stores
  • Conducting month end stock taking of Raw materials and OGS stock and drive recocillation process for any deviation
  • Maintain documents related to all inbound materials
  • Liase and maintain healthy relationship with third party partner for External warehouse
  • Strategically plan the storage requirement for Raw Materials for site and manage investment plan in advance
  • Manage cost of external warehouse as per AOP

  • Systems
  • Good SAP knowledge
  • Pivotal in driving all quality management, safety management and material management system for site .
  • Keeping live the inventory of Plant documentations, which includes MI’s, SOPs, Risk Assessments, Quality records etc.
  • Understanding process Capability of key equipment and plan for structured intervention
  • Driving Cycle count and Ware House Management module in SAP
  • Capability to converge on decision making on restricted and block stock along with stakeholders.

  • Coaching the frontline supervisory team for driving high performance frontline team

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate in Engineering – Chemical/Mechanical/Production Engg

MBA with major in Operations will be an added advantage

Experience:

7 to 10 years of experience in the related field is desirable

An experience of Food industry is preferable.
