Senior / Lead Vue.js Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior / Lead Vue.js Frontend Engineer who can take technical ownership of frontend architecture and delivery. This is not just a development role , it requires leadership, structured thinking, and accountability for timelines and quality.

You will lead frontend development for a production-grade platform, ensuring performance, scalability, clean architecture, and strong coordination with backend and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Technical Leadership

• Own and drive frontend architecture decisions.
• Define and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Review PRs and ensure code quality and consistency.
• Mentor and guide junior/mid-level frontend developers.
• Improve reporting clarity, sprint predictability, and delivery discipline.

🔹 Development & Execution

• Design and develop scalable applications using Vue.js (v2/v3).
• Implement modular, reusable, and performance-optimized components.
• Manage state effectively using Vuex / Pinia.
• Integrate with REST APIs and real-time services.
• Ensure responsive UI, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility compliance.
• Identify and proactively fix performance bottlenecks.

🔹 Ownership & Accountability

• Take full responsibility for frontend delivery timelines.
• Provide structured updates and clear visibility into progress.
• Anticipate risks and escalate early when required.
• Align engineering output with business impact.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8+ years of professional frontend experience.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with Vue.js in production environments.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience designing scalable frontend architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Vue Router, Vuex / Pinia, and component-based design.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and lazy loading techniques.
• Experience integrating frontend systems with secure authentication flows.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Vite, Webpack, NPM/Yarn.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• TypeScript experience.
• Experience with WebSockets or real-time data updates.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Vitest).
• CI/CD pipeline exposure.
• Experience working on SaaS or platform-based products.
