Senior Investment Professional - Accelerator & Early-Stage Practice

Role Overview:

One of the leading climate Change and Health Advisory firm hiring for Senior Investment Professional, Accelerator and Early-Stage Practice (Remote Job).

Key Responsibilities :

- Work closely with accelerator and incubation programs to evaluate cohort companies and assess their investment readiness.

- Design and structure seed-stage and early-stage investment vehicles, including blended finance instruments and venture-style term sheets.

- Contribute to the development of investment frameworks, selection criteria, and portfolio monitoring systems for accelerator-linked investment activities.

- Advise startup founders on pitch preparation, financial planning, unit economics, and capital-raising readiness.

- Conduct detailed financial due diligence and build, audit, and refine financial models for equity, debt, and blended finance transactions.

- Lead financial structuring for transactions, ensuring robust valuation, risk allocation, and returns analysis.

- Prepare investment memoranda and transaction documents, articulating the value proposition of early-stage ventures.

- Evaluate and execute fundraising strategies for companies and projects, including sourcing and engaging with investors and negotiating terms.

- Manage relationships with clients, investors, lenders, accelerator partners, and co-advisors - across the full deal lifecycle.

- Conduct market, sector, and regulatory analysis to identify emerging investment opportunities, with a focus on early-stage deal flow.

- Assess investment readiness and advise startups on improving bankability and attracting institutional and venture capital.

- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to developing best-in-class financial models and investment toolkits.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, project finance, scenario analysis, and early-stage valuation methods).

- Proven ability to structure and close investment transactions across the startup-to-growth spectrum.

- Deep understanding of capital markets, corporate finance, venture capital dynamics, and accelerator-driven deal pipelines.

- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial or venture databases such as PitchBook or Crunchbase.

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage diverse workstreams.

Preferred Qualifications/Good to Have:

- Experience working within or alongside accelerator programs, venture studios, or early-stage ecosystem platforms.

- High comfort level with technical and engineering concepts in sectors such as renewables, climate tech, mobility, or healthcare.

- Fluency in another language.
