About this opportunity:

Responsible for day-to-day VAS operations and maintaining service availability for VAS nodes. Own alarm handling, hardware/software/configuration troubleshooting, node configurations for VAS domains, and emergency/outage response. Provide L2/L3 support, coordinate with vendors and global customers, and perform root-cause analysis across network, server, storage and application layers.

What you will do:

• Support PCRF, CGF, UPCC, SAPC, WAPGW, Video Optimization (vMSE), DPI, SMSC/MMSC, Voicemail, MSP and probe elements.
• Troubleshoot network (TCP/IP, Diameter, HTTP, SCTP, MAP, etc.), server (Linux, Solaris) and storage issues (HP blades, EMC, HDS, E9000).
• Administer and troubleshoot F5 load balancer, DNS and AAA services.
• Use shell and Python scripts to automate diagnostics and repeatable tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and global customers; create incident reports and knowledge articles.
• Validate upgrades and configuration changes in lab and production; participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.

The skills you bring:

• OS: Linux, Solaris
• Strong TCP/IP and protocol knowledge (Diameter, HTTP, SCTP, MAP, TCP/UDP, DNS, SNMP)
• Practical experience with PCRF, UPCC, CGF, SAPC, WAPGW and DPI probes
• F5 load balancer operational knowledge
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing support

Experience and Education

• 4–6 years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
