Role Overview:
As a Developer Advocate at Workday, you will be the face of the company to developers in India and APAC markets. Your role is crucial in building and nurturing the developer community, sparking curiosity, and helping developers succeed. You will design hands-on learning experiences, present at conferences, create technical demonstrations, and represent developers' voices back to product teams. Reporting to the Head of Developer Relations, you will have regional ownership in shaping developer engagement strategy across APAC while contributing to global Developer Relations initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and facilitate hands-on learning experiences, hackathons, workshops, and developer meetups to inspire developers to work on Workday.
- Build authentic relationships with developers at all levels and identify emerging community leaders.
- Create and nurture local developer communities through in-person and virtual engagement.
- Present at conferences, meetups, and customer events with compelling technical demonstrations.
- Produce technical content like blog posts, video demos, code samples, and reference architectures.
- Serve as the liaison between Workday product teams and the developer community, ensuring developer feedback influences product roadmaps.
- Monitor developer sentiment, engagement metrics, and community health to measure success and identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with various teams to execute regional developer growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Contribute to global Developer Relations initiatives and support sales enablement by providing technical knowledge and success stories.

Qualification Required:
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience building applications within enterprise ecosystems or 2+ years of developer advocacy.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Other Qualifications:
- Proven track record in public speaking and technical presentations.
- Strong technical communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience organizing hackathons, workshops, or developer events.
- Hands-on development experience with the Workday platform.
- Based in India with authorization to work and comfortable with travel.
- Genuine energy and enthusiasm in connecting with developer communities.
- Ability to build rapport across cultures and developer personas.
- Active presence in developer communities through technical contributions.
- Understanding of modern developer tools and platforms.
- Background in partner ecosystems or developer program management.
- Experience in gathering and synthesizing technical feedback for product teams.
