Role Overview:
You will be joining the Finance Data Office team at Salesforce as a data/analytics engineer. Your role will involve supporting various Finance functions, driving process improvement, and scaling to support different departments such as F&S, RevOps, and others. You will be responsible for managing data pipelines feeding daily operational reporting companywide, monthly close processes, and quarterly earnings up to Investor Relations. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization scales effectively with its rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate Alteryx workflows to other data engineering tools such as dbt, Informatica, and Python
- Handle and manipulate large data sets using Salesforce, SQL/Snowflake, and Python to identify, quantify, and monitor financial and operational risks
- Manage and build complex multi-source data sets while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data refresh
- Migrate and rebuild data infrastructure to adapt to an evolving tool landscape
- Conduct end-to-end testing and auditing of ELT pipelines/data curations to improve runtime, accuracy, efficiency, and cost
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to define KPIs, align on approaches, and ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Translate business requests into documented requirements and scalable data models

Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Operations, Finance, and Data Management in analytics, reporting, data analysis, and aggregation
- Proficiency in SQL authoring, editing, and optimization with the ability to write advanced queries
- Knowledge of API calls with Python, VM, Airflow, Google App Script, Alteryx, and experience in transforming data with dbt
- Familiarity with Data Science and statistical techniques
- Experience in managing data integrations and pipelines in a large company setting
- Ability to connect data between business processes and creatively solve problems
- Understanding of data governance principles and industry trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Certifications in SnowPro Specialty (Snowpark) and Python for ETL/ELT are preferred
