Role Description Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Private Networking & Terraform Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting secure private network environments within Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Azure private networking components, advanced Terraform knowledge, and strong debugging capabilities in complex isolated environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and debug Azure Private Networking components including: • Private Endpoints • Private Link • Virtual Networks (VNets) • Subnets • Network Security Groups (NSGs) • User Defined Routes (UDRs) • VNet Peering • Configure and troubleshoot Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and Web Application Firewall (WAF). • Deploy and manage Azure-hosted and isolated/private applications using Terraform (advanced level). • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins. • Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Dashboards, and KQL (Kusto Query Language) for monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting within private network environments. • Debug and resolve complex private/isolated network connectivity and security issues. Required Skills • 5/5 expertise in Azure Private Networking. • Advanced Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) experience – 5/5 proficiency. • Strong knowledge of: • Azure Firewall • Application Gateway • Web Application Firewall (WAF) • Subnetting, routing, and secure networking patterns • Hands-on experience debugging complex private network environments. • KQL (Kusto Query Language) – Mandatory. Secondary / Desirable Skills • Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins. • Strong working knowledge of Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. • Experience in diagnostics and observability within secure Azure environments. Experience Required • 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Azure private networking (expert level). • Strong advanced-level experience in Terraform (expert proficiency expected). • Mid to Senior-level engineering capability.
