Job Title: Senior Analyst

Location: Gurgaon/Hyderabad

Mode of Work: WFH/WFO/Hybrid

Experience: 2–6 years (US FDD / Transaction Advisory)

Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst supports buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, focusing on QoE, working capital, profitability trends, and databook preparation. The role requires strong analytical capabilities and the ability to independently manage allocated workstreams with supervision from managers and engagement teams ion the US.

A successful Transaction Advisory Senior Analyst should:
  • Possess technical knowledge sufficient to lead engagements, including coordinating workflow & tasks with clients; resolve experience to provide valuations support.
  • Possess significant knowledge of various due diligence and deal advisory methods and techniques.
  • Take ownership and independence for delivery of high-quality work. Develop self and others through seeking and offering on the job coaching and audit engagement experiences.
  • Execution and understanding of different financial models and building them.
  • Demonstrate professional skepticism and compliance with our risk management and independence policies.
  • Start to build relationships across our client offerings and seek opportunities to work together.
  • Build strong credibility through displaying good insight and business acumen, applying technical competence, and engaging in relevant discussions with clients and engagement teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Due Diligence
  • Perform detailed Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis, including identification of non‑recurring items, normalization adjustments, and EBITDA bridge.
  • Conduct Working Capital Analysis with in-depth ratio evaluation (DSO, DPO, DIO).
  • Analyze financial statements, profitability trends, AR/AP aging, and cash flow performance.
  • Prepare databooks, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Advisory
  • Support pre‑deal analysis, including target screening, industry benchmarking, and valuation inputs.
  • Assist in synergy analysis, integration considerations, and preliminary business risk identification.
  • Deal Structuring and Transaction Management
  • Prepare sections of due diligence reports, including financial analysis, red flags, and KPIs.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.

  • To qualify, candidates must have:
  • Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial due diligence, M&A advisory, or transaction support.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, Excel, Databook preparation, financial Modeling, and QoE assessments.
  • Experience: Prior experience with Big 4 or other consulting firms in transaction advisory or due diligence is highly preferred.
