Your main responsibility will be the post-implementation management of a large-scale power sector energy portfolio management assignment for a State-owned distribution utility in Lucknow. This will involve various activities such as designing, implementing, and maintaining a Business Analytics and Demand Forecasting software solution. Here are some key responsibilities you will be handling:
- Load Forecasting including short term, medium term, long term, and RE forecasting.
- Scenario Analysis
- Demand Supply position map
- Energy Portfolio Management
- Scheduling Optimization
- Trade Optimization
- Real-time Network Monitoring and Demand Management
- Deviation Settlement Analysis
- Integration of proposed solution with existing systems
- Fetching necessary data from external sources
- Debriefing with Analytics and documenting causes, effects, patterns, and results
- Designing Live Dashboard for Business Analytics
- Providing Facility Management Service (FMS) for Application Maintenance for five years

To excel in this role, you are expected to have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Energy Portfolio Management
- Thorough understanding of Energy Portfolio Management activities
- Strong analytical skills and financial assessment abilities
- Knowledge of Indian power markets and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, advanced Excel skills, and report-writing
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Flexibility to work in shift duties and collaborate effectively with the team

Your educational background should include a B. Tech. in Electrical/Computer Science/IT/Electronics from reputed Institutes, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Demand/Supply Forecasting, Energy Planning, and Optimization of energy transactions for power portfolio management.
