As an experienced accounting professional, you will be joining Vents' India subsidiary to support financial operations in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and collaborate with international finance teams. Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and company policies.
- Managing day-to-day accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Regularly reconciling accounts, including bank reconciliations and supplier/customer accounts.
- Processing domestic and international payments efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborating with external accounting and tax advisors to review tax declarations, filings, and ensure alignment with internal records.
- Reviewing and cross-checking accounting program outputs (Business Central / Navision preferred) with external advisors' reports.
- Supporting month end, quarter end, and year end closing activities.
- Providing accurate financial reporting to management and supporting internal and external audits.
- Assisting with foreign exchange transactions, international supplier/customer payments, and related accounting entries.

Qualifications & Skills required for this role:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as CA (Chartered Accountant) or ICWA (Cost Accountant) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in Indian accounting standards, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
- Strong experience with payments, reconciliations, and working with external accounting advisors.
- Previous experience in an international business environment, preferably with export product operations.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Navision.
- Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-border interactions.
