Job Opening: Secondary Mathematics Teacher

Location: Euro School, Whitefield, Bengaluru

Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics educator to join our senior secondary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command over the CBSE senior secondary math curriculum and a proven track record of preparing students for board exams and higher education.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to students of Grades 9 and 10 (CBSE board).
• Prepare lesson plans in alignment with CBSE guidelines and school pedagogy.
• Guide students in problem-solving, critical thinking, and application-based learning.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain academic records.
• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary and co-curricular activities.
• Attend school events, PTMs, and training workshops as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./B.A.) in Mathematics or a related field (Required)
• B.Ed. in Mathematics or equivalent teaching qualification (Mandatory)
• Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.A.) in Mathematics (Preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the Secondary or Senior secondary level
• Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and evaluation patterns
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience with smart classroom tools and online teaching platforms
• Passion for innovative pedagogy and active learning methods
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
