Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and trend-aware Social Media Script Writer who can write highly engaging scripts for reels, short videos, ads, brand campaigns, and promotional content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.

The ideal candidate should understand audience psychology, social media trends, hooks, retention based writing, and how to turn brand messages into content that grabs attention and drives action.

Key Responsibilities

• Write scripts for reels, short form videos, ads, promotional videos, and brand campaigns
• Create strong hooks, engaging storytelling, and clear CTAs for social media content
• Develop content ideas based on trends, audience interests, and brand goals
• Collaborate with designers, video editors, marketers, and content strategists
• Adapt tone and style based on different industries and brand voices
• Write scripts for educational, promotional, emotional, and trend-based content
• Research competitors, viral formats, and current social media trends
• Optimise scripts for watch time, engagement, shares, and conversions
• Create multiple script variations for campaigns and performance testing
• Ensure content is clear, concise, brand aligned, and platform appropriate

Required Skills

• Strong writing and storytelling skills
• Good understanding of Instagram reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook video content, and LinkedIn content
• Ability to write scroll-stopping hooks and retention focused scripts
• Understanding of social media trends, pop culture, and audience behaviour
• Ability to simplify brand messages into engaging short form content
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Fast turnaround time and ability to manage multiple content requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Media, or related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in script writing, content writing, copywriting, or social media content creation
• Experience working with brands, agencies, or content teams is preferred
• A portfolio of social media scripts, reels, ad copies, or video content is preferred

• Creative thinker with strong idea generation ability
• Strong grasp of viral content patterns and audience retention
• Ability to write for different niches such as lifestyle, food, fashion, real estate, healthcare, and branding
• Understanding of sales driven content and performance marketing language
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agency or content production environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
