Role Description

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Remote Script Writer to join our team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ideating and writing high-performing scripts across formats; from short-form viral content to long-form YouTube videos. If you understand attention, storytelling, and audience psychology, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Research industry-specific topics, trends, and audience psychology to create relevant and impactful scripts
• Develop strong content ideas and turn them into engaging, well-structured scripts
• Write short-form scripts (Reels/Shorts) that grab attention within the first few seconds
• Write long-form YouTube video scripts that maintain retention and deliver value throughout
• Create content for informative, educational, and sensitive topics with clarity, accuracy, and responsibility
• Craft compelling hook lines that instantly capture interest
• Apply storytelling techniques to make content engaging, relatable, and easy to follow
• Adapt writing style based on brand tone; educational, emotional, entertaining, or persuasive
• Collaborate with the creative, video, and strategy teams to align scripts with overall content goals
• Edit and refine scripts based on feedback and performance insights
• Stay updated with content trends, formats, and platform-specific best practices (especially Instagram and YouTube)

Qualifications

• Proven experience in script writing for Instagram and YouTube (Minimum 1 year, 2 years preferred)
• Strong storytelling skills with a clear sense of structure, pacing, and flow
• Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging content
• Understanding of viral content and audience retention strategies
• Ability to handle sensitive topics thoughtfully and responsibly
• Strong research skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in English or Hinglish (depending on brand requirements)
