The Opportunity

The mission of the SAP Authorizations Business Analyst is to ensure the stability, performance, security, and scalability of SAP landscapes, particularly focusing on S/4HANA environments. This is achieved by providing expert technical leadership in the design, installation, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of SAP systems. The Senior SAP Basis Consultant proactively identifies and resolves technical issues, supports system upgrades and migrations, ensures compliance with best practices and security standards, and enables seamless integration with business processes. By doing so, they empower ADB SAFEGATE to maximize the value, reliability, and efficiency of our SAP investments.

What Will You Do?

• Design and implement authorization concepts, roles, and profiles optimizations in S/4HANA .
• Design and implement authorization concepts, roles, and profile optimizations in the extended ADB SAFEGATE SAP landscape. Examples of systems in scope: SuccessFactors, Concur, CPQ, C4C, FSM, CPI, IAS/IPS.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define authorization requirements, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external compliance mandates (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
• Drive the implementation of segregation of duties (SoD) frameworks and support regular audits. Manage user and role administration, ensuring proper role assignments and compliance with segregation of duties (SoD) principles.
• Establish standards, processes, and documentation for SAP authorization management.
• Promote continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with SAP security trends, tools, and best practices. Recommend innovative solutions to optimize SAP authorizations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing evidence, documentation, and resolving findings related to SAP authorizations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex authorization issues across multiple SAP modules and environments.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the upgrades, projects, and in daily operations. You are expected to work constructively with your peers (internal ADB SAFEGATE Business Applications consultants and IT Infrastructure experts, and 3rd party consultants) and to have a customer-oriented attitude.
• Coordinate and control the Authorization team of the SAP AMS partner.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to SAP Authorization activities, best practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to both team members and business users.

We’re Looking for Someone With:

• 4+ years of SAP Authorizations experience with at least 2 years on SAP S/4HANA
• Deep understanding of SAP security architecture, authorization objects, and role design.
• Experience with SAP Fiori authorizations and front-end security.
• Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Control and audit processes.
• Prioritization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver high-quality results within set deadlines.
• Cross-Team Collaboration : Promoting cooperation across different teams and departments.

• SAP Authorizations certification is a Plus
• English - Advanced or Professional Level (Writing, Reading, Speaking)
