Job Description: Sales & Service Engineer (Pneumatics)
1. Position Overview
The Sales & Service Engineer will be responsible for both business development and
technical service support for pneumatic products and systems. The role combines field sales
responsibilities with installation, troubleshooting, and after-sales service to ensure high
customer satisfaction and repeat business.

3. Key Responsibilities
A. Sales & Business Development
● Identify and develop new customers in industries such as automotive, FMCG,
packaging, pharma, and manufacturing.
● Generate leads, follow up, and convert into orders.
● Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
● Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals.
● Promote company products through field visits and client meetings.
B. Installation & Commissioning
● Support installation and commissioning of pneumatic systems at customer sites.
● Ensure proper functioning of cylinders, valves, FRL units, and assemblies.
● Coordinate with internal technical teams during project execution.
C. Service & Troubleshooting
● Diagnose and resolve issues in pneumatic systems.
● Provide timely after-sales support and maintenance.
● Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
● Reduce downtime and improve system efficiency for customers.
D. Customer Relationship Management
● Maintain strong relationships with customers for repeat business.
● Handle complaints and ensure resolution within defined TAT.
● Provide training to customers on product usage and maintenance.
E. Coordination & Reporting
● Coordinate with sales, service, production, and dispatch teams.
● Maintain service reports, visit reports, and sales pipeline.
● Update CRM and track customer interactions.
● Provide regular feedback on market trends and competitor activities.
4. Product Knowledge Requirements
● Pneumatic Cylinders (ISO, Compact, Guided)
● Solenoid Valves & Valve Manifolds
● FRL Units (Filter, Regulator, Lubricator)
● Air Preparation Systems
● Pneumatic Fittings & Tubing
● Basic PLC and automation integration knowledge (preferred)
5. Educational Qualification
● Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in:
○ Mechanical Engineering
○ Mechatronics
○ Industrial Engineering or equivalent
6. Experience Required
● 2–4 years in pneumatic / automation / industrial equipment sales & service
● Experience in field service and client handling preferred
7. Skills & Competencies

● Strong understanding of pneumatic systems
