Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to support the sales team in achieving business growth and revenue targets. The role involves managing client relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and assisting in the development and execution of sales strategies. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to drive sales initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

  • Support the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

  • Prepare and deliver effective sales pitches, product demonstrations, and presentations.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to close high-value deals.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.

  • Address client inquiries and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.

  • Conduct regular client meetings to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

  • Assist in preparing sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports.

  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and suggest improvements.

  • Maintain accurate sales records and CRM data.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

  • Provide insights for product development and market positioning.

  • Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies.

Team Collaboration & Support:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer support.

  • Assist in training and mentoring junior sales team members.

  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sales.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in handling high-value B2B or B2C accounts.

  • Familiarity with market research techniques and sales forecasting.

  • Ability to thrive in a target-driven and competitive environment.
