Full–time

Posted on: 6 days ago

A Sales and Marketing Field Manager for a physiotherapy clinic is primarily an "on-the-ground" role focused on local territory expansion. Unlike a general manager who might focus on digital strategy from an office, the Field Manager spends the majority of their time visiting medical professionals, corporate partners, and community hubs to generate a consistent stream of patient referrals.

Core Responsibilities
  • Medical Liaison & Referral Networking: Conduct daily field visits to orthopaedic surgeons, neurologists, paediatricians, and general practitioners to promote the clinic’s specialized treatment protocols.
  • Corporate & Industrial Partnerships: Identify and sign Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with local corporations, factories, and IT parks for employee wellness programs and onsite ergonomic assessments.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute "Physio Camps", seminars and community health workshops at parks, senior living communities, and sports clubs.
  • B2B Channel Development: Build relationships with local gyms, yoga studios, and sports academies to establish the clinic as their preferred rehabilitation partner.
  • Territory Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity in the assigned region, including their pricing, new service launches, and doctor tie-ups.
  • Lead Management: Collect and track lead data from field activities using a CRM tool to ensure the front-desk team follows up and converts inquiries into appointments.

  • Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 3–5 years in field sales or healthcare marketing (Pharma, Medical Devices, or Hospital Outreach).
  • Field Readiness: Must be comfortable with 80% travel within the assigned local territory and have a valid driving license.
  • Soft Skills: Strong "door-opening" abilities, persuasive communication, and the clinical literacy required to discuss rehabilitation outcomes with doctors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in mobile CRM reporting and basic data analysis to track the ROI of different field locations.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Referral Volume: Total number of new patient referrals generated specifically from field-visited doctors.
  • Doctor Conversion Rate: Percentage of doctors visited who begin referring at least 20 patients per month.
  • Event ROI: Number of new evaluations booked during a community camp vs. the cost of organizing the event.
  • Market Share: Growth in clinic patient volume from specific targeted neighbourhoods or postal codes.
