Brief Description
  • Understand activities of each Inolex customer-facing role through the lens of the customer.
  • Identify new brands and prospects through research, review of market information, or other varied sources (website, UL Prospector, info e-mails, HAPPI, conferences).
  • Contact, build rapport, and qualify/disqualify prospects.
  • Engage current accounts to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities, and develop account intelligence.
  • Achieve substantial sales and profitability growth with assigned accounts and new customers.
  • Update the customer/ distributor database on a routine basis and keep track of new business opportunities.
  • Monitor sales performance indicators and report on deviations.
  • Provide data and trends for sales and marketing.
  • Support in follow up on late invoice payment (liaise with finance department as when required).
  • Assist in the execution of marketing activities to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage the distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, and promotional items.
  • Organize and coordinate events, tradeshows, and sponsorships, including logistics, booth setup, and collateral preparation.
  • Maintain sample center in an organized structure.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns using various outlets, including sales tools, digital, social media, and events.
  • Liaise with head office marketing team on advertising and material requirements for shows.
  • Traffic inbound customer leads to ensure success leads to fulfillment.
  • Other activities assigned by management/ or special projects as required by the business to serve customers.

  • Requirements
  • Computer competency: experience with MS Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, chemical/cosmetic, or related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Understanding of chemical handling and safety is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Cosmetic Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) is preferred.

  • Physical Requirements
  • This position will be primarily located in a Mumbai office. You must be able to work at a computer approximately 8 hours per day.
  • This role may be subject to international and/or domestic travel. Approx. 10%.

Summary

The position requires an individual starting their career as independent, organized, and team-oriented personnel. This is a hybrid role; half being internal sales support and handling technical sales to assigned accounts (such as smaller manufacturers, indie brands and consultants) and the other half supports marketing activities like planning and executing events including conferences, tradeshows, special events, and others. The person will collaborate with various teams within the company to ensure the smooth implementation of marketing activities. The candidate will perform essential duties to maintain a best-in-class product sample experience for our customers. This role is direct report to regional business director.

This position will be based in Mumbai and is required to work full‑time from the office.
