Role & responsibilities

• Conduct EHS induction training for new joiners and promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
• Develop, review, implement, and monitor all EHS-related SOPs, checklists, and compliance trackers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements under safety and environmental laws.
• Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping of all EHS statutory compliance records.
• Plan and conduct mock drills (Fire & Emergency Response) as per schedule and implement corrective action plans.
• Assist and support internal and external EHS audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Conduct regular internal safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor and inspect First Aid boxes, fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, fire hydrant systems, machine guarding, and other safety equipment.
• Supervise and ensure compliance of STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) parameters within prescribed limits.
• Assist in execution of internal and external environmental monitoring activities.
• Conduct PPE need analysis, ensure proper usage, coordinate procurement, and maintain minimum stock levels.
• Investigate incidents, prepare Near Miss reports and internal incident reports, and maintain records.
• Participate in and conduct Safety Committee meetings, preparing detailed reports of discussions and action plans.
• Ensure proper display and upkeep of EHS policies, safety signages, and guidelines at site.
• Manage and monitor waste management systems, including safe storage and disposal of hazardous waste, e-waste, plastic waste, and other waste as per applicable rules.
• Coordinate and ensure effective pest control activities as per GMP guidelines.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall EHS performance.
• Actively participate in and organize HSE promotional activities and awareness programs.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in Manufacturing / Industrial Setup is Preferred.
