Job Description – Safety Officer (Construction)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure implementation of safety policies and procedures at the construction site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor workers to ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for workers and staff.
• Investigate accidents or incidents and prepare safety reports.
• Maintain safety records, documentation, and compliance reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers and management to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure all construction activities follow safety standards and government regulations.

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction projects.
• Good knowledge of construction site safety standards and procedures.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle safety audits and emergency situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,456.23 - ₹20,000.00 per month
