Job Requirements:

Education:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Relevant certifications or training in railway systems would be an advantage.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience working in the railway sector (with specific experience in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering as applicable).
  • Past experience in overseeing large-scale railway infrastructure projects, maintenance, or operations.
  • Proven ability to work with railway design, construction, and project management teams.

    • Skills:
  • Strong technical expertise in railway engineering principles and systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of railway construction, maintenance, and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with applicable national and international railway regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

    • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with modern railway technologies such as signaling systems, automation, and control.
  • Familiarity with railway project management tools and software.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers and project teams.

    • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and advise on engineering projects related to railway infrastructure.
  • Provide expert knowledge in solving complex technical issues related to railway systems.
  • Work on project planning, design, and implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Provide support in ongoing maintenance and operational optimization.

    • Additional Qualifications:
  • Retired from active service with the railway industry, seeking a consulting or advisory role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various project stakeholders.
