About the Role

On behalf of a prestigious and iconic Italian Luxury Brand, we are seeking an experienced and highly strategic Retail Area Manager to oversee and drive the brand’s commercial success across the Indian market. The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of 25 points of sale, including flagship street-level boutiques, high-end department store corners, and shop-in-shops. We are looking for a leader who embodies "Luxury Sensitivity" and combines a people-oriented approach with rigorous business analysis.

Responsibilities

Business Management: Full P&L; responsibility for the area. Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competition to implement strategic actions that ensure targets are met or exceeded.
KPI & Performance Culture: Drive the business through a deep analysis of retail KPIs (Conversion Rate, UPT, ATV, CR, etc.), identifying growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Excellence in Clienteling: Foster a culture of CRM and advanced Clienteling. Guide teams in building long-term relationships with Top Clients and local VIPS, ensuring an impeccable "Italian Luxury Experience."
Network Oversight: Ensure consistent brand image and operational excellence across all 25 locations (Boutiques, Corners, and Shop-in-Shops).
People Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor Store Managers. You will be "People Oriented," focusing on talent development, motivation, and succession planning within the region.
Visual & Operations: Ensure that VM standards and back-office operations (inventory, shrinkage, procedures) are aligned with the global brand guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or an equivalent cultural background.

Required Skills

Proven track record (7+ years) in Luxury Retail Management.
Experience managing multiple points of sale in the Indian market is essential.
Deep sensitivity to the codes of luxury.
Strong ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable retail strategies.
High availability for frequent travel across India to visit the stores and support the local teams.
Exceptional communication, charisma, and the ability to inspire a diverse workforce.
