Job Function/Role Summary

The Research Content Writer Associate will be responsible for creating accurate, engaging, and research-driven content focused on the Food & Beverage industry. The role supports marketing, branding, and thought-leadership initiatives by translating technical food science, nutrition, regulatory, and market insights into reader-friendly content.

Work Schedule:

Primarily desk-based activities involving computer work, research coordination, and communication. Full Time, Monday to Saturday, 10:00a.m. to 7:00pm. Hours may vary on occasion, depending on workload.

Req. Qualification:

Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Nutraceuticals, Food Science, Cosmeceuticals, or a related field.

Certification in research methodology or publication ethics preferred.

Req. Experience:

- 1 to 5 + years of experience in academic writing, research publication, or related roles.
- Proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience in academic or industry partnerships is a plus.

Req. Knowledge and Skills:

· Academic Knowledge: Expertise in research methodologies, glycemic index protocols, and nutraceuticals.

· Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for articles and networking.

· Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple academic and publication tasks effectively.

· Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of journal guidelines, publication ethics, and compliance processes.

· Technical Skills: Familiarity with academic platforms (e.g., PubMed, ResearchGate, Google Scholar).

· Data Management: Ability to monitor citations, downloads, and article impacts.

· Networking Skills: Capability to establish partnerships with universities, journals, and research institutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Research & Content Development

- Conduct in-depth research on food ingredients, formulations, nutrition, regulations, and market trends
- Develop well-structured content including blogs, articles, whitepapers, case studies, and marketing collateral
- Translate technical food industry data into marketing-friendly content without losing accuracy

Marketing Content Creation

- Create SEO-optimized content for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media
- Write product descriptions, service pages, brochures, and pitch decks for food industry clients
- Support brand positioning and lead-generation campaigns

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure content accuracy aligned with FSSAI, FDA, Codex, and global food regulations
- Maintain consistency in tone, terminology, and brand guidelines
- Proofread, edit, and fact-check content before publication

Collaboration & Reporting

- Coordinate with marketing, R&D;, regulatory, and design teams
- Incorporate feedback and revise content as required
- Track content performance and suggest improvements
