Job Requirements

At Quest Global, it’s not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different. With over 25 years as an engineering services provider, we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible. Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place—to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future. We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster.

Key Responsibilities
  • RCM Strategy & Execution: Lead and facilitate RCM and FMECA workshops using applicable best in class standards to define optimal maintenance strategies for I&C assets.
  • Asset Criticality & Risk: Conduct Equipment Criticality Assessments and develop detailed maintenance plans considering Safety Integrity Levels (SIL), regulatory requirements, and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead systematic investigations into I&C failures (e.g., control valve malfunctions, PLC logic errors) and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Predictive Maintenance (PdM): Strategize and implement Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) and predictive tools for critical equipment like analyzers and field transmitters.
  • Performance Metrics: Calculate & monitor MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR; use these data points to optimize PM & calibration frequencies.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Operations and Design teams to ensure reliability is integrated into new capital projects and system modifications (MoC).
  • Technical Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for major breakdowns and mentor junior technicians on reliability best practices.

  • We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day. Questians are driven by hunger, humility, and aspiration. We believe that our company culture is the key to our ability to make a true difference in every industry we reach. Our teams regularly invest time and dedicated effort into internal culture work, ensuring that all voices are heard.

We wholeheartedly believe in the diversity of thought that comes with fostering a culture rooted in respect, where everyone belongs, is valued, and feels inspired to share their ideas. We know embracing our unique differences makes us better, and that solving the worlds hardest engineering problems requires diverse ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds. We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21,000 difference-makers in our workplace.

    Work Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 8–10 years in maintenance and reliability, with a focus on I&C systems in high-intensity industries like Oil & Gas, Power, or Chemicals.
  • Certifications: Preferred CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer).
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with DCS (DeltaV, Honeywell), PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley), and CMMS/APM software (e.g., SAP, GE APM Meridium, Maximo).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to perform statistical data analysis and interpret complex failure trends.
