This function has oversight across the global ESG regulatory landscape, with focus on regulatory interpretation and business/strategic impact for financial institutions/banking. The role would require close collaboration with Group Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Risk and Communications in addition to Business divisions Need to be able to read regulatory text and summarise eloquently for stakeholders. Need a strong written command of English and will support the Regulatory team by doing deep dive research into ESG related regulatory topics. Will be writing impact assessments/gap analysis group-wide for ESG regulation (working with Finance for Prudential regulation) and creating thematic research pieces on topical subjects. Feeding into the quarterly newsletter on key regulatory topics. Maintain and update inventory/pipeline of ESG regulation and ESG regulation intranet Driving awareness of regulatory developments across Deutsche Bank business and infrastructure areas Providing expertise on regulatory requirements across ESG regulations, including feeding into established implementation groups where needed The role would include working on advocacy positions in collaboration with Group Regulatory Affairs and providing a voice into future regulatory policy Your skills and experience Prior knowledge of the ESG regulatory landscape would be helpful to the role Excellent network internally within DB or ability to create and maintain relationships Strong team player, supporting the CSO Regulation team and team objectives Outstanding analytical skills to derive implications from regulatory changes and assess implementation needs Strong powerpoint and excel skills to be able to create content that can be shared with stakeholders. Must have excellent communication skills. Proactive self-driven attitude, to pick up topics and run with them. Strong work ethic and commitment to deadlines.
