About the Position

We are looking for a self-reliant sound engineer with a learning mindset. The person needs to be self-driven and passionate about learning. Initially, this role will assist the recording team in the following

Responsibilities

• Equipment Setup & Maintenance
• Ensure all studio equipment (microphones, consoles, software, etc.) is functioning correctly.
• Set up, test, and adjust recording equipment for sessions.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Recording Session Management
• Prepare the studio for recording sessions.
• Regulate volume levels and sound quality during recordings using control consoles.
• Guide voice artists during sessions for optimal performance.
• Audio Post-Production
• Edit and mix audio tracks (post-production).
• Separate instruments, vocals, and other sounds; combine them during mixing.
• Translate analogue to digital sound and synchronise audio with visual media.
• Duplication & Archiving
• Reproduce and duplicate sound recordings using editing and duplication equipment.
• Maintain logs of recordings and manage the audio library.
• Project Coordination
• Communicate with Project Manager and Language QC teams.
• Provide regular updates on project status and ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

• Certified Sound Engineer from a recognised institute, knowledge in Pro Tools 10 & above
• 0-10 years of experience in Sound Engineering & Dubbing
• Should have a fair understanding of the industry and technical expertise
• Sound engineers should be updated with client specs and requirements
