The proposition offers personalized wealth management advisory and solutions research-based investment advisory, estate planning, real estate and tax advisory for HNIs/ ultra HNIs clients.

About the Role

The Lead – Client Origination will drive and oversee the end‑to‑end client origination and engagement lifecycle for the Burgundy Private acquisition engine. This role manages a 3‑member team responsible for lead acquisition, conversion, governance, and partner coordination. The incumbent will ensure productivity, quality, and process discipline, while collaborating with regional and central stakeholders under the One Axis framework.

The role is both strategic and operational, with a strong focus on managing team performance, ensuring pipeline hygiene, optimizing lead flows, and contributing to business acquisition outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance Management
  • Lead and manage a team of 3 Client Origination Managers, ensuring productivity and adherence to defined KPIs
  • Set clear targets, monitor performance, conduct regular 1:1 reviews, and drive capability building
  • Ensure discipline in CRM updates, lead management hygiene, and data accuracy across the team
  • Guide team members on client communication, objection handling, and proposition pitching

  • Client Origination & Lead Management
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of acquisition leads received from One Axis channels, Corpository, website, and Liquidity transactions
  • Drive high‑quality engagement through timely outreach, follow‑ups, and enhanced client experience
  • Supervise outbound/inbound calling efforts; step in for escalations and priority leads
  • Optimize allocation of leads to Burgundy Private Partners based on client profile, geography, and capacity

  • Governance, Reporting & Process Excellence
  • Ensure team-wide adherence to SOPs, compliance norms, and governance standards
  • Maintain and review detailed MIS reports — call productivity, lead funnel status, conversion ratios, and partner allocation efficiency
  • Review and validate CRM entries, lead stages, and interaction logs for quality and completeness
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, scripts, and client engagement mechanisms

  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Burgundy Private Partners, Regional Heads, and central acquisition teams to align on lead management priorities
  • Work closely with Marketing, Digital, and CRM teams to improve inbound lead quality and funnel efficiency
  • Support regional leadership with insights, dashboards, and weekly reviews on acquisition performance
  • Ensure high‑quality emailers, engagement notes, and proposition communication are shared with prospective clients
  • Coach team members to articulate Burgundy Private’s value proposition effectively across client touchpoints

  • Client Communication & Proposition

    Qualifications
  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA / Postgraduate degree preferred
  • 6–10 years of experience in client acquisition, sales management, banking operations, or wealth/private banking
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in managing teams
  • Prior exposure to CRM systems, lead management, or MIS reporting is highly desirable
  • Experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, or insurance will be an added advantage
