Job Description
  • Execute the configuration, testing, and deployment of new PLM features, workflows (e.g., Change Management - ECN/ECO), and data structures as defined in the digitalization roadmap.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of the PLM environment, including user accounts, access controls, and security settings.
  • Support the integration points between PLM (e.g., bill of materials, product data) and other enterprise systems like SAP (ERP).
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating detailed PLM-related process documentation, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure adherence to the established Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECO) and Stage-Gate/NPD governance processes within the PLM system.
  • Verify that design documentation, test records, and product files maintain configuration control and are audit-ready within the system.
  • Monitor and audit the quality and completeness of product data (e.g., part numbers, specifications, design files) within the PLM system.
  • Generate and maintain operational reports and dashboards on PLM utilization, data quality metrics, and ECN/ECO cycle times.
  • Provide Level 1/2 technical support to end-users on PLM system usage, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Deliver regular training and capability-building sessions for engineering teams on new PLM features, processes, and best practices to drive adoption.
  • Collect and analyze user feedback to identify system and process gaps for continuous improvement.
  • Develop detailed user requirement specifications, test scripts, and rollout plans for minor PLM enhancements or upgrades.
  • Coordinate testing activities (e.g., User Acceptance Testing - UAT) for new PLM implementations with cross-functional teams.
