As an R&D Intern at our company, you will be an integral part of the Research & Development team, contributing to the enhancement of our brand's product innovation. Your role will involve exploring new ideas, materials, trends, and techniques to drive creativity and design excellence.
  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • - Assist in researching global fashion trends, silhouettes, fabrics, trims, colors, and embellishment techniques.
    - Support the development of new concepts, swatch boards, and design references.
    - Coordinate with suppliers for fabric, embroidery, trims, and new materials sourcing.
    - Review samples and help prepare feedback for corrections and improvements.
    - Document sampling progress, maintain R&D files, and organize swatch libraries.
    - Assist the team with cost comparison, fabric testing, and quality checks.
    - Participate in prototype development and follow-up with internal units.
    - Prepare presentations for new collections and internal reviews.
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • - Pursuing or completed Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or Apparel Merchandising.
    - Basic knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, garment construction, and fashion techniques.
    - Strong attention to detail and creative thinking ability.
    - Good communication and documentation skills.
    - Software knowledge: Illustrator/Photoshop/Canva (preferred).

    As an R&D Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with luxury designer production and R&D processes. You will also collaborate with senior designers and production teams, fostering your growth in the fashion industry. Additionally, a certificate of internship and performance-based stipend may be provided based on your performance.
