Job Title: Quality Manager


1. Overview: The Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that products and services meet the established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems and processes that enhance product integrity and operational efficiency. The Quality Manager will lead a team of quality assurance professionals and collaborate with cross-functional departments to foster a culture of quality within the organization.


2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system (QMS) in alignment with ISO standards and industry best practices.

  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to monitor adherence to specifications and regulatory standards.

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

  • Prepare quality reports and metrics for management review, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

  • Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and practices.

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to promote quality awareness and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide training and support to staff on quality standards, methodologies, and tools.

  • Manage relationships with customers and suppliers to address quality-related concerns and enhance product satisfaction.


3. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS) and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001).

  • Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques (e.g., statistical process control, root cause analysis).

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the specific sector.

  • Experience with audit processes and quality assurance practices.

  • Competence in using quality management software and data analysis tools.


4. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management or quality assurance roles.

  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is highly desirable.
