About the Role

Position: Quality Assurance Tester

Location: India (Remote)

Remuneration: €500 - €700 per month equivalent to the local currency (based on relevant experience and suitability for the role).

Mandatory requirements:

• Familiarity with Moodle is essential.
• Access to Apple and Android devices namely desktop or laptop, tablet and phone with the current operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute hands-on testing for an EHS SaaS platform, including modules such as Risk Assessments, Incident Reporting, CAPA, Contractor Management, Audits, and Training Management.
• Design and run test cases based on business requirements, user workflows, and real-world EHS scenarios.
• Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform testing (web, iOS, Android).
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Carry out functional, regression, performance, and usability testing across frequent releases.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release sign-off.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of e-learning courses, including content, navigation, assessments, certificates, and learner experience.
• Maintain clear QA documentation and contribute to improving QA processes and standards.

Requirements :

• Experience in software testing or QA, ideally within a SaaS or web-based application environment.
• Proficient in manual testing techniques, test design, and defect lifecycle management.
• Extensive experience testing web applications, including mobile and responsive testing.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to think from a real user perspective, not just technical specifications.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly describe issues to developers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of testing activities, and manage priorities under guidance from the Project Manager.

Desirable :

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Exposure to compliance or regulated environments.
• Awareness of accessibility or usability best practices.
• Experience project management tools(e.g. Jira, Confluence) and automated testing.

Remote Work Setup & Equipment Requirements:

• Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the necessary infrastructure to work remotely, including but not limited to a suitable laptop or desktop computer, with reliable and secure internet connection, appropriate data protection measures and secure file storage.
• The minimum specification for a suitable computer is: 8GB RAM, i3 8th gen/ Ryzen3 i3 8th gen/ Ryzen3, 20Mbps Download/ 10Mbps upload, and should be able to support multiple browser + tabs and record the screen.
