Job Summary

Metaphi Innovations Pvt Ltd is looking for a Quality Analyst with around 1 year of experience in software testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, test case creation, defect tracking, and API testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, and smoke testing
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman
• Work closely with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues
• Validate bug fixes and verify application functionality before release

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Hands-on experience with manual testing
• Experience creating test cases and bug reports
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar tools
• Exposure to API testing tools like Postman
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Basic exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright)
• Experience testing web and mobile applications
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development processes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Software testing: 1 year (Required)
