We are looking for a QA Process & Governance Specialist who will be responsible for defining, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving organizational processes, with a strong focus on QA compliance, governance, and audit readiness.This role will work closely with QA, Engineering, Product, and Management teams to ensure that defined processes are followed, quality standards are met, and risks are proactively identified and mitigated.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Process Implementation & Improvement
  • Define, document, and implement QA and SDLC-related processes (testing, release, defect management, change management, etc.)
  • Ensure processes align with organizational goals, quality standards, and industry best practices
  • Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Standardize templates, checklists, SOPs, and guidelines

  • 2. QA Compliance & Governance
  • Establish and monitor QA compliance frameworks
  • Ensure adherence to defined testing standards, quality gates, and sign-off criteria
  • Track compliance across projects and teams
  • Test planning & execution
  • Defect management
  • Release readiness
  • Risk & mitigation tracking

  • 3. Audits & Reporting
  • Conduct process audits and compliance reviews
  • Identify non-compliance issues and define corrective and preventive actions
  • Prepare and present compliance reports, dashboards, and metrics to stakeholders
  • Support external audits if applicable

  • 4. Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with QA leads, developers, product owners, and project managers
  • Guide teams during process onboarding and adoption
  • Act as a point of contact for process-related clarifications and governance concerns
  • Facilitate retrospectives focused on process effectiveness

  • 5. Metrics & Quality Measurement
  • Define and track quality and process KPIs (defect leakage, test coverage, compliance rate, etc.)
  • Analyze trends and recommend improvement actions
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making for quality initiatives

  • Required Skills & Qualifications

    Must-Have
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA processes
  • Experience in process implementation, compliance, or governance roles
  • Knowledge of QA standards, best practices, and metrics
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Process documentation
  • Compliance tracking
  • Audit execution
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Good to Have
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum / SAFe environments
  • Exposure to ISTQB, ISO, CMMI, or similar quality frameworks
  • Experience in risk management and mitigation planning
  • Familiarity with QA tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
