The Prompt Engineer & AI Champion is not a software developer. Not a data scientist. Not a tools trainer. This person sits at the intersection of deep AI knowledge, human empathy, organisational understanding, and strategic thinking. They will work across every function of our organisation — Finance, HR, Content, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Analytics, Tech — identifying where AI can unlock 10x impact, and then making it happen.

    🎯 Role & Responsibilities

    The AI Champion will serve as the internal engine of AI transformation across iDream Education. This is an individual-contributor role with enormous cross-functional responsibility and high visibility. You will own the entire AI adoption lifecycle — from discovery to training to monitoring — across every team in the organisation.
  • AI Discovery & Use Case Identification
  • Embed with different teams (Finance, HR, Content, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data Analytics, Tech) to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and productivity bottlenecks.
  • Identify high-impact opportunities where AI tools can unlock efficiency, quality improvement, or entirely new capabilities for team members.
  • Translate observed workflow problems into precise AI use case statements that can guide tool evaluation and implementation.
  • Maintain a living roadmap of AI opportunities across the organisation, prioritised by impact and feasibility.
  • AI Tool Research & Recommendation
  • Continuously track the rapidly evolving AI tools landscape — including large language models, generative AI platforms, automation tools, and domain-specific AI applications.
  • Conduct rigorous, structured research and comparison across available AI tools for each identified use case.
  • Perform hands-on trials and experiments with shortlisted tools before making any recommendation to a team.
  • Present clear, evidence-backed recommendations with rationale, trade-offs, pricing, and implementation plans.
  • Stay current with the latest releases, updates, and emerging players across the global AI ecosystem.
  • Implementation & Onboarding
  • Drive the adoption of recommended AI tools within teams, ensuring a smooth and well-supported transition.
  • Design and deliver customised training programmes for each team — recognising that the needs of a content writer differ vastly from those of a finance analyst.
  • Develop practical prompting guides, workflow templates, and standard operating procedures for each tool and use case.
  • Be patient, encouraging, and hands-on with team members at all levels of digital comfort and AI familiarity.
  • Efficiency Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish baseline productivity metrics before tool deployment and track measurable improvements over time.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, reviews, and refresher sessions with teams to address new questions and reinforce best practices.
  • Collect and act on feedback from users to continuously improve how tools are being used.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback loops to help teams progressively deepen their AI fluency.
  • Identify when a deployed tool is underperforming and make the call to pivot to a better solution without hesitation.
  • Prompting Expertise & AI Best Practices
  • Develop and maintain a company-wide library of high-quality prompts, templates, and AI workflow playbooks.
  • Coach team members on advanced prompting techniques — including chain-of-thought prompting, role prompting, few-shot examples, and iterative refinement.
  • Ensure best practices around responsible AI use, data privacy, and ethical deployment are understood and followed across all teams.
  • Act as the go-to internal expert on prompt engineering and help teams extract maximum value from AI interactions.
  • Organisational AI Culture Building
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, curiosity, and responsible AI adoption across iDream Education.
  • Share regular AI updates, new tool discoveries, and success stories with the broader team to build excitement and awareness.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape the company's long-term AI strategy, ensuring alignment with our mission to serve students and educators.
  • Be the bridge between cutting-edge AI capabilities and practical, grounded application within our specific education context.

  • 🔧 Required Skills (Must Have)
  • AI Knowledge & Tool Fluency
  • Deep Hands-on AI Experience: Proven, practical experience with a wide range of AI tools across categories — LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), image & video generation, AI for productivity, automation, content, data, and more.
  • Prompt Engineering Mastery: Exceptional ability to craft, test, and iterate on prompts across different AI models and use cases; experience building prompt libraries and coaching others in prompting.
  • Trend Tracking: Active, consistent tracking of the global AI tools landscape — follows AI news, product releases, research, and thought leaders with genuine enthusiasm and rigour.
  • Research & Evaluation Skills: Ability to systematically compare AI tools across dimensions of capability, cost, reliability, integration, and appropriateness for specific use cases.
  • Rapid Experimentation: Proven ability to quickly pick up, test, and evaluate new tools independently — comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration cycles.
  • Communication & People Skills
  • Exceptional English Communication: Solid command over written and spoken English; able to explain complex concepts simply, write clearly, and present ideas persuasively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Comfortable working across a diverse mix of functions including Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Content, Operations, Analytics, and Tech.
  • Training & Facilitation: Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training sessions for users with varying levels of technical sophistication.
