As a Project Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and management of project timelines for (Specific Project Types, Industrial). You will bridge the gap between design and site execution, ensuring that all resources—labor, material, and equipment—are synchronized to meet contractual milestones.

Core Responsibilities

Schedule Development: Create and maintain detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, incorporating the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Critical Path Method (CPM).

Progress Tracking: Monitor daily site progress against the baseline, identifying any deviations and proposing corrective ‘recovery ‘ plans to mitigate delays.

Resource Management: Assist in Resource Leveling and allocation to optimize the productivity of site teams and equipment.

Reporting: Generate Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports (WPR/MPR) and S-Curves to provide stakeholders with data-driven insights into project health.

Risk & Delay Analysis: Identify potential project risks and, for senior roles, lead Extension of Time (EOT) claims and forensic delay analysis.

Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate between procurement, design, and construction teams to ensure long-lead items and drawings are available on time.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Experience:

Junior: 0–3 years of experience in site execution or basic scheduling.

Senior: 5+ years of experience with a proven track record of managing mega-projects or infrastructure works.

Software: Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Advanced Excel.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to communicate technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
