Role Overview
The Project Officer will support the overall coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of program activities related to Early Childhood Development (ECD). The position requires strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills to ensure effective delivery of ECCE, nutrition, and community engagement initiatives across project locations.
The role will involve close coordination with government systems, development partners, field teams, and donors to ensure smooth and high-quality project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation & Coordination
  • Oversee and coordinate project implementation across all centres to ensure timely and effective delivery of activities.
  • Support the implementation of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), nutrition interventions, and community engagement programs.
  • Work closely with field teams to ensure adherence to project guidelines and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and operational support to field staff.
  • Government & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Liaise and coordinate with ICDS, WCD departments, and Anganwadi systems to facilitate program implementation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, development partners, and community institutions.
  • Represent the organization in coordination meetings and stakeholder consultations.
  • Program Monitoring & Documentation
  • Ensure accurate documentation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities and outcomes.
  • Prepare periodic progress reports, field updates, and program documentation.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation processes to track project impact.
  • Donor Communication & Reporting
  • Maintain regular communication with donors and project partners.
  • Contribute to donor reporting and project updates as required.
  • Business Development & Knowledge Support
  • Support fundraising and business development initiatives by identifying potential opportunities.
  • Contribute to proposal writing, concept notes, and desk research for new programs and partnerships.
  • Assist in project planning, review meetings, and strategic discussions.
  • Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), Development Studies, Public Health, or related field.
  • Additional exposure to business development or fundraising will be an advantage.
  • Required Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including government departments, donors, and partner organizations.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of nutrition, maternal and child health, and early childhood development programs.
  • Experience
  • 3-4 years of experience in development sector projects.
  • Prior experience in project coordination, program management, or reporting will be preferred.
  • Experience working with nutrition programs, ICDS, WCD, or Anganwadi systems will be an advantage.
  • Additional Preference
  • Candidates based in Delhi regions will be preferred.
